Elk hunting is our specialty.  Our headquarters
and ranch is located directly between the Gila
Wilderness and the Aldo Leopold Wilderness in
bulls year after year and is very well known as an
"Elk Hunters Paradise".  All bull Elk hunts are
conducted during the Rut to give you the best
opportunity to harvest a trophy bull.  We offer
three different methods to hunt Elk.  You can
choose to hunt with Archery equipment, Muzzle
Loader or Rifle.  Archery season begins early
September, which is the beginning of the Rut and
Rifle season closes the Rut in mid October.
Because of the high Cow to Bull ratio in New
Mexico and Arizona the "Bugle" season is very
aggressive and very vocal.  Bull Elk "Bugle" to
attract cows and to communicate with other Bulls.  No other type of hunting compares to Elk hunting during
the Rut.  Having a monster bull Elk screaming at close range will definitely get your blood pumping.  We
use several different methods to hunt Elk, my favorite being calling them in.  But spot and stalk and still
hunting over water holes is very effective as well.  You can choose to hunt from the ranch house which
has a full time cook, hot showers and comfortable beds, or you can be packed into the back country with
horses and mules and stay in a remote "Spike Camp".  We also offer "Spike Camps" that are accessible by
through the Arizona Lottery System.  In New Mexico you either have to draw a tag through the New Mexico
Lottery or purchase a landowner tag.  We have New Mexico landowner tags available and can help you
put in the draw for either state.
